2 weeks ago we had crazy hot weather here in Montreal that was preceded by a day of very dense fog, which caused all sorts of traffic and flight problems. It was kind of eerie walking around town and I took advantage of the situation to bust out the old Mamiya 7. I’m kinda falling back in love with film photography.
Once upon a time, there was this motherfucking lazy girl who was posting things to her blogs that she should have posted months ago. Like, when it was Christmas time, for example. Well, whatever. What better way to celebrate the spring, I say!
…I’m sorry.
So this is the Christmas card I shot for the Concordia University Design department back in December. It’s a display of students’ work from the past year, some of it is mine (a quilt that is in fact an artist book, at the back of the scene). It was a fun day of breathing duvet and making a mess!

But wait, there’s even a video, to put you even more in the mood for Christmas! Please no laughing at my amazing video editing talents…
Soon I’ll catch up on my backlog and will be up to date, I promise…
I feel now is an appropriate time to share some photos and watercolors I did in the fall for a school project. The assignment was to do 3 spreads for a recipe book, which I’ll probably post at another time because I haven’t yet picked them up from grading.
I chose to illustrate vegan asian inspired soups. The recipe shown here is from the PPK (recipe here) and it’s really delicious.
I am having one of those stupid weekends where I have elected to paint my nails, curl my hair, go shopping and do a blog post instead of doing my homework. :S
Ok well I guess that’s done. Back to my homework. And here goes nothing!
Ok. I’m really shit at this. My last post was in August. I guess I’m always too busy? The only reason why I’m blogging today is because I have a pretty impressive backlog of images that live nowhere else than on my hard drive and I suppose this place is somewhat becoming my official website while my actual website is waiting for a generous sponsor to make it happen for me for free. So share those images I will. Eventually. Here’s a start anyway.
